Challenge yourself and your fellow adventurers in a fun and dynamic test of endurance aboard a pedal kayak from Trusty Sail & Paddle! We will be using Perception Crank kayaks, capable of propulsion by foot pedal, traditional paddle, or both! Invite your friends to form the strongest lineup, and earn your team’s place at the top of the Challenge Board!
Traveling at the pace of the slowest boat, we will push to bust our weekly records in distance traveled in one hour, max speed, and average collective pace. These stats will be tracked and compared from week to week, with participant lineups competing for the highest score in all categories. The lineup with the best stats will have their team name and photo featured on the Challenge Board at our Waterfront Booking Station.
Challengers will be held every Sunday, beginning March 17th, at 1:00pm, at the Trusty Waterfront Booking Station, by the Morehead City Transient Docks off Shepard Street. The registration fee of $45 includes a pedal kayak rental, a personal flotation device, a paddle, and a professional guide service plus tracking system.
