Join Trusty Sail & Paddle on an all-inclusive kayak-camping expedition out to Cape Lookout! Launching from the Harker’s Island Visitors Center at 2:00pm, the expedition will depart for Cape Lookout National Seashore. After establishing our campsite along the beach, participants will have the opportunity to explore the island, visit its landmarks, swim in the ocean, go fishing in the sound, roast s’mores, and have some fun!
A kayak, tent, and all necessary paddling and camping gear will be provided, in addition to the provisions for two meals. Our experienced staff will provide guidance throughout the expedition, including in loading up kayaks with camping gear, basic kayak paddling orientation, campsite setup and takedown, fire building, and more. Diet-specific meal options will be available upon request.
The registration fee of $275 includes all necessary equipment, including the delivery of a rental kayak to the launch site. Alternatively, participants may bring their own kayak at a reduced registration fee of $200. Advanced registration is required, and capacity is limited.
